Devotional: Personal Relationships Breakthrough

Scripture: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

Proverbs 27:17

Relationships play a powerful role in shaping our lives. The people we walk with influence our growth, our decisions, and our faith. While relationships are meant to bring encouragement and strength, not every connection is healthy or aligned with God’s purpose.

This fast is an opportunity to bring every relationship before the Lord—friendships, family relationships, and romantic connections—and ask Him for clarity and breakthrough. Some relationships may need healing and restoration. Others may require healthy boundaries. And some may need to be released altogether. God knows what each season requires, and He is faithful to guide you.

Do not settle for relationships that drain, distract, or pull you away from God. Believe God for connections that sharpen you, support your growth, and draw you closer to Him. As you surrender your relationships to God, He brings healing, wisdom, and alignment according to His will.
