Devotional: Family Breakthrough

Scripture: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

Family is one of God’s greatest gifts, but it can also be one of the greatest battlegrounds. There may be division in your home, strained relationships, or a loved one you’ve been praying for but haven’t yet seen change. God sees every concern you carry for your family.

This fast is a powerful opportunity to stand in the gap for your household. When you fast and pray, you are not only changing yourself—you are releasing breakthrough over your entire family. God is able to heal what has been fractured, soften hardened hearts, and restore unity where there has been division.

Do not give up on your family. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing in faith. Today, identify one source of anxiety related to your family and intentionally give it to God. Trust Him to work in ways you cannot. As for you and your house, you will serve the Lord.

Prayer Focus:

Peace and unity within our families

Healing for broken and strained relationships

Restoration for prodigal family members

Strength to stand in faith and prayer

Freedom from anxiety and fear

God’s presence in our homes

We declare: our families are covered, restored, and strengthened by God.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, we place our families fully in Your hands. Heal what is broken, restore what has been lost, and bring unity and peace into our homes. We trust You to complete the work You have begun. Amen.
